What size generator does my house need?
Most houses around Houston land between 14 and 32kW. A 22kW runs most homes. Add a pool, an EV charger, or a third AC unit and you're looking at a 26 or a 32. The sizing calculator on this page gives you a starting number. Then we come out, count your circuits, and check your gas meter before anything's final. That visit's free.
Are you a certified Generac dealer?
Yes. We're a Generac Prestige Dealer, Generac's highest dealer designation. We sell, install, service, and handle warranty work on Generac generators serving Greater Houston out of our showroom at 13910 Alice Road in Tomball, Texas, where some of the standbys and the portables are on the floor. We also service Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, and Cummins units.
How long does a generator install take?
The permit takes about a week. The install itself is usually one day. Book this week and you're covered by October. The week a storm gets named, the calendar fills fast, so don't wait for the cone.
What areas do you serve?
We cover Greater Houston and about 100 miles in every direction from our showroom in Tomball: Houston, Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Katy, Magnolia, Conroe, Kingwood, Humble, Sugar Land, Pearland, Montgomery, and most of Greater Houston. Can I finance a generator?
Yes. We work with Synchrony, with promotional plans such as no interest if paid in full within the promo period, plus other lenders. Ask when we come out, or see current terms on our financing page.
I already have a generator. Do you service it?
Yes, any brand. The storm-season tune-up is a battery load test, oil, filter, and a full transfer-switch test, with a written report. It is $25 off through September 30. The battery is the part that fails first, and it'll pass the weekly self-test right up until the night it doesn't.
